Zilor, a Brazilian company with 80 years of experience and one of the leading companies in the country’s sugar-energy sector, publishes its Sustainability and Integrated Reporting annually, presenting the main results of the harvest, as well as the progress and challenges related to its commitments and ambitions in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects.

The documents provide relevant information about Zilor’s performance throughout each agricultural cycle and their scope and content are defined based on the most relevant ESG themes for the organization. For this, Zilor relies on its materiality analysis.

The indicators and content presented are based on globally recognized standards and guidelines. The report is guided by the 2021 Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, global best practices for disclosing different environmental, social, and economic impacts, including the GRI 13 Sector Standard; and indicators for the Biofuels and Agricultural Products sector from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). and the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), with respect to the indicators relevant to Zilor. The latest reports also include specific targets related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda, through the actions of the Zilor + Sustainable 2030 Program.
